چکیده

Aging is a physiological, non-pathological process that occurs mainly as slow, gradual, and passive procedure influenced by interplay of numerous genetic environmental influences. Different ways have been tried to postponement aging extent life span in animals, dietary anti-oxidants are one them. Depending on the metabolic free radical theories aging, this work was carried out evaluate use vitamin C delaying promoter. D galactose shedding light mechanisms underlying anti-aging variations both molecular physiological level. enhanced injecting rats subcutaneously with dose 100 mg for 8 weeks brain tissues were subjected analysis determining level serotonin, dopamine nor epinephrine. caused down regulation serotonin while epinephrine went up, such alteration has resisted administrated C. Thus we can conclude could prevent age related deterioration.

Protective effect of metformin on D-galactose-induced aging model in mice

Objective(s): Metformin (Met), an antidiabetic biguanide, reduces hyperglycemia via improving glucose utilization and reducing the gluconeogenesis. Met has been shown to exert neuroprotective, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. The present study investigated the possible effect of Met on the D-galactose (D-gal)-induced aging in mice. Materials and Methods: Met (1 and 10 mg/kg/p.o.), ...

P 36: Protective Effects of Crocin on D-Galactose Induced Aging Model in Human Neuroblastoma Cells

Introduction: D-galactose (D-gal) is well known as an appropriate agent to induced aging effects in the in vivo and in vitro models. In the present study, we selected crocin, the main constituent of Crocus sativus L. (Saffron), against D-gal cytotoxicity in human neuroblastoma SH-SY5Y cells. Materials and Methods:  Cells were pretreated with crocin (25-500 µM) for 24 h and then expos...

Characterization of an animal model of pregnancy-induced vitamin D deficiency due to metabolic gene dysregulation.

Vitamin D deficiency has been associated with pregnancy complications such as preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and recurrent miscarriage. Therefore, we hypothesized differences in vitamin D status between healthy [Sprague-Dawley (SD) and Lewis (LW)] and complicated [Brown Norway (BN)] rat pregnancies. In SD, LW, and BN rats, we analyzed the maternal plasma levels of the vitamin D metabolites...

Effects of Exendin-4 on Male Reproductive Parameters of D-Galactose Induced Aging Mouse Model

PURPOSE The purpose of this study was to evaluate the role of exendin-4 on reproductive alteration in a D-galactose-induced aging mouse model. MATERIALS AND METHODS In this experimental study, 72 male Naval Medical Research Institute mice (20~25 g) were randomly divided into six groups: control, exendin-4 (1 nmol/kg), exendin-4 (10 nmol/kg), D-galactose (500 mg/kg), D-galactose+exendin-4 (1 n...
